Teak & Carpentry FAQ

How much does teak deck replacement cost?

+

Teak deck replacement costs from €1,300 to €1,500 per square metre installed, including materials, labour and caulking. A typical 45ft motoryacht cockpit deck costs $15,000-25,000. Full deck replacement on a 60ft vessel ranges from $40,000-80,000 depending on complexity.

How long does teak deck replacement take?

+

A cockpit-only replacement takes 2-3 weeks. Full deck replacement on a 40-50ft vessel typically requires 4-6 weeks. Larger vessels or complex patterns may take 8-10 weeks. We pre-cut all planks before installation begins to minimise on-vessel time.

What type of teak do you use?

+

We use certified Burma (Myanmar) teak, which is the industry standard for marine applications due to its natural oil content and durability. We also offer sustainally sourced plantation teak for budget-conscious projects. All teak is kiln-dried and graded for marine use.
